BRUTAL!!!!
One of my “seasonally appropriate” pieces, reminiscent of a movie prop or disturbing (to say the least) haunted house exhibit. Sure. Or it could just be a physical manifestation of my vented frustrations and unstable psychotic disturbances. You’re choice.
For me…it’s simple, you wanna make a masterpiece you gotta break a few eggs. This is one of those broken eggs…spliced open and picked at, so I can figure out what went wrong and learn from my mistakes with experiment 087, 089, etc. When it comes to the presentation of this unfortunate soul, I am especially proud of the small drainage installation on the lower right hand side of the piece. Really, it’s all about the details ….right?!
This super fly piece of work is currently available and will be featured at the Rock and Rummage: 3rd Annual Treats And Treasures Show, and will be selling for a very reasonable 150$. I would make it a point to snatch this guy up if you fall into it’s spell, I have long since fallen helplessly for it, and if it doesn’t go home with you…it will with me!
*These pics are technically pre-completion, to finish the piece off I installed stainless steel pins to tack down the eviscerated bits of flesh. Knarly.
