Introducing; “Radioactive Battle Squid vs. the Atomic Submarine” ~by artist Emi Slade 2012
Soon to be released…my very first battle scene available for sale! The details are intense, as well as the colors, textures, and content; just have a look for yourself!
Notes about the Submarine:
” *USSĀ “Nautilus”Ā (SSN-571)*Ā is the world’s first operationalnuclear-powered submarine. She was the first vessel to complete a submerged transit beneath theĀ North Pole on August 3, 1958. Namesake of the submarine inĀ Jules Verne’sĀ “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, and named after anotherĀ “USS Nautilus”Ā (SS-168) that served with distinction in WWII,Ā “Nautilus”Ā was authorized in 1951 and launched in 1954. Because herĀ nuclear propulsion
allowed her to remain submerged far longer than diesel-electric submarines, she broke many records in her first years of operation, and traveled to locations previously beyond the limits of submarines. In operation, she revealed a number of limitations in her design and construction. This information was used to improve subsequent submarines.”

Just some quick media updates; a few magazine reviews and a “for sure” on a network television series ;D
As far as the latter goes, I cannot (sadly) reveal any details until I get the green light from the producers š¦ Trust though, I wouldn’t be considering television if it wasn’t going to be damn good television š
Below are the links to the magazines I’ve mentioned~have a look!

Now~Featured in Catapult Magazine~!
Yaay!
I’m very honored to be featured in Catapult Magazine’s newest issue (#12), I’ve been a fan of “the SHINE” art zine since it’s beginning and have consistently been blown away by it’s grand development and it’s incredible artist roster. Featuring artists from all over the globe and highlighting a huge variety of mediums, Catapult is surely a needed addition to any art-junkies monthly stack. These issues are so deluxe-the printing, layout, design, and construction are all truly arts in their own right! Obviously, I’m a fan.
Can’t wait to see what the future holds; for example Next up is a taxidermy feature in WIRED magazine!
SHINE ON!
