Introducing; “Radioactive Battle Squid vs. the Atomic Submarine” ~by artist Emi Slade 2012
Soon to be released…my very first battle scene available for sale! The details are intense, as well as the colors, textures, and content; just have a look for yourself!
Notes about the Submarine:
” *USS “Nautilus” (SSN-571)* is the world’s first operationalnuclear-powered submarine. She was the first vessel to complete a submerged transit beneath the North Pole on August 3, 1958. Namesake of the submarine in Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, and named after another “USS Nautilus” (SS-168) that served with distinction in WWII, “Nautilus” was authorized in 1951 and launched in 1954. Because her nuclear propulsion
allowed her to remain submerged far longer than diesel-electric submarines, she broke many records in her first years of operation, and traveled to locations previously beyond the limits of submarines. In operation, she revealed a number of limitations in her design and construction. This information was used to improve subsequent submarines.”

There are absolutley no lights in this creatures eyes I swear it!~they are painted in such a way they glow like this in dim light, or in the moonlight 😉
The belly however, ..yes, that does have a light in it. (It’s a tap off/on reusable LEd with 8 color options , including flashing red to blue!)
It’s going to be hard giving this one up this weekend at my festival spots that’s for sure…he’s for sure a”keeper!” ^-^

Seattle Erotic Art Fest and Rome’s “Pimp my Mary”
Good friend Jerry Vile selected me to participate in this incredible artistic event and really “turned me on” to the friendly and fabulous coordinators! My work is Wayyyy too raunchy to post to the public forum, so take a look here for images of it and 100’s of other honored artists from all over the world! Wish I could’ve been there in person, but if I was going to choose any event to visit in the flesh, I’d try to be out in Italy with my Mary piece (pictured below) raising hell.
