New taxidermic/hybrid work in progress…”Vulture Study”, and completed Skunk + Snabbit creatures too <3

Wow.
I’ve been BUSY!
Here are some images of both a faux-vulture taxidermic/sculpture work-in-progress (for Gallery 423 in LA) and my first two completed taxidermy hybrids for public sale. (By public I mean they are not designed for a gallery or event.)
This vulture is completely hand-made and is essentially a “replica”…the feathers are from roadkill chickens I’ve collected, and all other details are sculpted by your truly from reference photos and my own dreams.
Below that is my dapper skunk bust (titled “Mr. Hide”),  and my mini diorama rabbit mount..the “Rare Pacific Sea Snabbit”…again, entirely hand sculpted with the exception of a small rabbit skin. Both the skunk and rabbit are available in my etsy shop HERE

I’d like to point out quickly that I do not use forms, so beneath the skin of these mounts are my own sculpted polymer bodies, all one-of-a-kind and all subjects of my own twisted imagination.

*No animals were harmed to make this work*

Enjoy!
